The release, ’74 Jailbreak, by AC/DC is often labeled as a full album. Personally I think it’s more of a sort of compilation EP. The tracks all were released before in Australia but never put on an international release. Most of the time these kind of releases are a bit redundant and .

You need to know that there is a reason that they decided to keep these songs off of the original US release of "High Voltage". It's a great bunch of songs and a recommended purchase for AC/DC lovers (particularly Bon Scott fans) but when you put it in perspective with the rest of the US release's songs, they would have detracted from the hard, rawer edge of the rest of the songs/5().

Oct 12,  · I remember Much Music playing a Spotlight on AC/DC sometime between Razor's Edge and Live, and it was a two parter that opened with the opening track from this album. Jailbreak is one of those songs I love, and I'm pissed to find out that it had been on Dirty Deeds in Australia, but not over here. That would have made the album so much more bad.

Lyrics. AC/DC There was a friend of mine on murder And the judge's gavel fell Jury found him guilty Gave him sixteen years in hell He said "I ain't spending my life here I ain't living alone Ain't breaking no rocks on the chain gang I'm breakin' out and headin' home Gonna make a jailbreak And I'm lookin' towards the sky I'm gonna make a jailbreak Oh, how I wish that I could fly All in the name.

Why they only put 5 songs on here is beyond my understanding, but I'm glad they put the songs they did. These are excellent vintage AC/DC tracks! I love "Soulstripper." This is serious hard-edged blues and high power rock like it was meant to be played. Just warn the neighbors before you turn it on because it inevitably gets turned WAY up!/5(60).
